About my first experience of PechaKucha
In April 12, I had a brand new experience of PechaKucha. The topic i chose is Conscious Consumption. In my Pechakucha, I focus on the purchase habit of young man nowadays.
Coherent
I think my PechaKucha is coherent. At first, i have an introduction about the environment of consumption (big date and some example), and the second part is the research about the consumption habit of young man (date and analyze), at last i gave some idea from this theme. So the progression of the PechaKucha is logical.
Confused of image
At the same time, i found some point not went well in my PechaKucha. Some image can confuse the audience, they can not obtain information directly from some slides. In other words, i can’t clearly convey what i want to explain.
For example, i want to explain many young people not only buy the product itself, mostly they pay for the culture that create by manufacturer. But the gray square and dotted line can’t help people related to the goods and the culture.

Ambiguous
The content of my PechaKucha is vague and general. I mostly just analyze the data, but forget to pay much attention to the user experience. Therefore, I could not have an accurate and detailed analysis of the whole topic, which also led to my speech was not vivid, and I could not make the audience invest in and accurately understand what I wanted to express.


Takeways to project 4
Do more research about the consumption habit of real people. Focus on the user experience, and experience actual feelings of user.
